We don’t have to be watching the video screen at all times but only be aware when there has been a noise on the baby’s room. The unit also has a volume indicator the shows the intensity of the noise detected.

Lullabies comforting your baby to sleep

I’ve left my favorite to the last. We just love this nice feature on the Philips digital baby monitor and is what we liked the most (leaving aside the security benefits). The lullabies function this unit has allows you to just press a button on the parent receiver and the video camera will start soothing a beautiful lullaby to your baby. This is really useful for those nights when your baby is agitated and restless at bedtime.

You can choose between three different soothing lullabies and also turn on a nightlight to calm your little treasure with a warming glow, and all that can be made from the parent unit away from the room. This has been very useful when we have had some guests at home and the baby started to get agitated. After we see on the video there’s nothing wrong with our little one, we can just press the lullabies button and turn the warm nightlight on without having to get to the room, and the baby just calms down and get back to a calming rest.
